ABOUT US.
My name is Iraida Márques, founder of Today Is Happy Time NYC, a project dedicated to bringing joy, color, and artistic experiences to children through face painting and balloon twisting.
Art has always been a powerful tool for expression, connection, and social development. In childhood, it becomes an essential part of emotional growth, creativity, and self-confidence.
OUR STORY
I am grateful to God for allowing me to pursue this activity, which began in 2015 as a hobby. Over time, it became a professional career in the children’s entertainment industry—something I deeply love and that fits my lifestyle in New York City.
Every child’s smile when they see their reflection in the mirror with a colorful design fills my soul. That connection is the true essence of my work.
THE EXPERIENCE
Every animal or figure I create with balloons comes to life in the hands of a child. When they receive it, they hug it, celebrate it, and often jump with happiness, as if it were a special prize.
